66% Of Property Investors Plan To Invest Abroad

A recent survey conducted by property experts Worldwide Property Group has revealed that many UK property investors are keen to explore the overseas property market once more…

Speaking to thousands of property investors from across the UK, 66% of those surveyed felt that now is a great time to invest in overseas property investments whilst:

  • 75% felt that property is the most stable/profitable investment form around, and
  • 62% are considering purchasing property in the US in the next year

However, America is not the only property location to receive increased interest. Property investors are also keen to invest in Spain, France, Italy and Cyprus…

Reviewing these statistics, Kevin Wilkes of Worldwide Property Group, feels that compared to various types of other investment i.e. stokes and shares, property investment has clearly demonstrated the most resilience during the last decade.

Having already reclaimed the majority of the property price losses they experienced during the recession, the property market is growing beyond everyone’s expectations.

And it would appear that confidence in the UK property market is equally as strong…

When asked whether they thought low interest rates had influenced their decision to invest in property, 67% of investors responded ‘yes’, whilst two thirds revealed that they believed property prices would continue to rise over the next 12 months, some by as much as 15%.
