Bidding For London Olympic Stadium Opens

As of today, property investors can start placing their bids for a slice of the London Olympic Stadium after the 2012 games have finished.

The Olympics may be 2 years away, however property investors interested in owning this unique property development have got until the end of September 2010 to express an interest and send in their plans to the Olympic Park Legacy Company.

And already there has been a lot of interest…

To date more than 100 property investors/corporations have shown an interest in taking over this property investment and experts are confident that this number will continue rising.

Speaking on this scheme, Olympic Park Legacy Chairwoman Margaret Ford has revealed high hopes for the building being used to serve the community for many future sporting events.

And it looks like she may get her wish…

All property investment firms who have bid so far have expressed an interest in utilising the stadium for commercial, health or educational use.

Now that would make for a very interesting property investment; however there has got to be some sort of catch after all the work they have put into it. I wonder how much it costs?
