9 Aberdeen Homeowners Siphon Off £7m

In wake of the recession, stricter lending criterion and huge deposits, it is not surprising that property fraud has dramatically escalated in the last 2 years with more and more cases of fraudulent activity, such as that of 9 homeowners in Aberdeen, hitting the press on a regular basis.

Accused of siphoning off more than £7 million through a fraudulent scheme to help them obtain money, mortgages and ultimately property; the 8 men and 1 woman accused of  this crime are believed to have stolen this money over a 4 year period and used it to invest in property across various addresses in Aberdeen as well as keep a proportion of it for themselves…

According to officials the trial shall open with its first witness on Wednesday 27th January at the High Court in Glasgow, and should take as long as 5 months to resolve.

Currently though, of the 9 individuals accused, including David George Pocock, Russell Taylor, Alastair Walker, David Ramage, David Mark Pocock, Frank Pocock, Patrick Pocock, Mark Mackie and Arlyn Cran, all 9 are denying their involvement claiming their property investments were legit.
