Which MP Candidate Would You Live With?
The last 4 months of the year may have been filled with campaign after campaign from the 3 leading candidates for the 2010 General Election, but it would appear that the student populace haven’t been impressed by their policies.
During a recent study amongst 1,100 students by property website accommodationforstudents.com, they discovered that 20% of students would rather live in a property investment with President Obama than with Liberal Democrat candidate Nick Clegg.
Revealing that they liked Obama for his clean-living lifestyle, intellect and dynamism, in comparison David Cameron received only 6 votes and Gordon Brown only 3 – far from the results of the Election yesterday.
And looking at these statistics it would appear that students look for a lot from whom they share their property let with:
Continuing in this survey, it was also revealed that:
- 51% want to live with an intelligent and tidy housemate
- 14% would prefer to live with a rich and generous flatmate
- 11% want their flatmate to be ‘sexy and gorgeous’
